Complete Turnout Fabrication
Complete turnout fabrication undertaken at our workshops in the Hunter. Manufactured in any guage and to any radius. All components are manufactured by us (except Pandrol Clips and the rail) at our works. Underground applications (3'6" gauge) are especially catered for with our ready-to-use (bolt in) platebased turnouts and crossings.
3'6" gauge right hand turnout. Fabricated on 16mm plate with pandrol clips for ease of installation. Shown here awaiting shipment to a Hunter Valley customer.
3'6" gauge left hand turnout shown installed on the surface at a Lower Hunter colliery. Turnout has been concreted in to allow the passage of rubber-tired vehicles over it. Forgemasters supplied complete the steel formwork needed for concreting with the turnout.
